Fine Motor Skills (FMS) or Hand Skills is the ability to use the small muscles of the hand to hold and use various objects that are important for play and daily and school-related tasks. Deficits in hand skills may decrease your child’s sense of competence- isolating himself from others, poor quality of academic tasks and dependence on life skills.
